Product details
The TORTOISE is a hollow-core infinite slider designed for quiet control and effortless carry. Inspired by the protective geometry of a tortoise shell, its open structure balances strength and lightness - transforming subtle motion into calm, intentional focus.
Our most silent tool
TORTOISE features a magnetic tuning-fork slider with unlimited positions, delivering smooth, uninterrupted motion with almost no sound. Each fingertip push is fluid and controlled, making it ideal for discreet use in public spaces where silence matters.
Our lightest tool
Machined from metal alloy and hollowed for balance, the TORTOISE is the lightest infinite slider in the TACTIQLab. lineup. Its open design reduces weight without sacrificing structure, creating an effortless, pocket-ready tool that disappears in the hand yet remains deeply tactile.
Built for Focus and Calm
Whether you’re managing ADHD, stress, or simply staying present, the TORTOISE supports natural fidgeting to keep your mind anchored without distraction.

Love this. It is elegant and the slinky inside is very satisfying to hear while twisting this tool. Unfortunately it arrived missing two magnets and its magnetic attraction is pretty weak and I am continually dropping them because of this.
Thanks for the feedback Alberto! 🙌 We’re really glad you’re enjoying the design and the satisfying sound of the internal mechanism.
Regarding the magnet structure, we just wanted to clarify that the 6x8 structure is actually the intended design. You can see this in our product video, where one side of the slider features the 6x8 arrangement. We tested different configurations during development and found that this structure provided the smoothest and most consistent sliding experience!
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback 💪

I’ve tried several of these devices across different price ranges, so I get it — $90 looks expensive at first glance. But after buying this exact Tortoise unit, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny.
I used to flip two poker chips back and forth (bottom one to top one) for years. When I first started looking at these products, I honestly didn’t think I’d ever find one that could actually replicate that satisfying motion.
This one does it perfectly — and then gives you everything else you could possibly want on top of that. I almost wish the company was paying me for this review, because it’s honestly worth more than they’re charging.
Just buy it. You’ll be happy you did.
This is an amazing review to read 🙏 We know $90 can look like a lot at first glance, so it really means something hearing how it changed your perception after using it. That poker chip motion is a really specific reference, so it’s great to hear we nailed that feeling!!!

I’ve bought a few of these devices in different price points. And I understand you see $90 that is expensive. Have to purchasing this exact tortoise unit. It’s worth it.
I used to flip two poker chips, bottom one & top one, back-and-forth. When I was first looking into these products, I thought to myself there would be never one that can do this (meaning what the poker chips did, how they flipped)
This does that. Plus, everything else you could want. I wish the company paid me for this with you because it is even less than what the product really is.
Buy this and be happy
Wow - this is an incredible review to receive Chris 🙏 That poker chip comparison really stood out, because that exact motion challenge was something we obsessed over during development. Really glad it exceeded expectations and feels like it delivers even more than you expected for the price.
Appreciate you sharing this so thoughtfully!

I was messing with it first day of having it. I was new to this kind of fidget and I accidentally dropped it to my surprise a part of the slider broke when it hit the ground. When I asked for a replacement they gave me 10 dollars store credit very disappointed with this product and how the company handled it.
Thanks for getting back to us 🙏
For something more relatable, it's kind of like a pair of glasses, you use them every day but it's still possible to accidentally drop or sit on them and break / damage the frame - and unfortunately 99% of glasses companies wouldn't replace them for these accidental damages 😅.
If it arrived damaged, that's a completely different story. We would ship you a brand new replacement completely free of charge without hesitation - and our reviews reflect this commitment 🤝
But, I really do understand your side - i'm going to add an action point on our side to make sure it's clear on our website that our infinite sliders (specifically the TORTOISE) should be taken care of and the customer should practice with it on a soft surface first to gain more experience to avoid these accidental cases.
Sorry to disappoint here again Mason, I hope you have a great rest of the week nonetheless 🥺

Quieter than the other one I purchased. Very light and easy to manipulate. Not sure if it is as designed/intended but looks like one half is missing 2 magnets (shown on right half in image where pen is pointing). Feels like this off-balances the manipulations sometimes.
Hey Dylan, thanks for the detailed feedback! 🙏 The slider was intentionally designed with a 6 x 8 magnet structure - we tested a few different configurations and found this setup gave the smoothest movement during testing.
The lighter feel and quieter sound are also part of this design, but we appreciate you flagging the magnet layout and how it feels during manipulation. We'll keep this feedback in mind!
(Also, I love your mousepad)

Great tactile fidget. Love the design and how smoothly this works.
Hey Jane, really glad you're enjoying the TORTOISE and how smooth it is 💪 - we worked quite hard to find the right balance with the magnet resistance on this tool, so we appreciate the feedback!

Loose springs; I kinda expected them not to rattle around.
I also expected 2x8 magnets instead of two missing at one side.
Maybe deliberate choice to save some cents? idk.
I saw a video online that had all of this.
Hi Rafael, thanks for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into account to improve the product. If you have any other questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out!
The 2x8 setup is actually the way we designed it - during our testing the two sliders with different magnet setups and this was the smoothest in our opinion, but appreciate the feedback!

My favourite of the 5 items bought, slick, beautiful and entertaining.
That’s awesome to hear Remy 🙌 Really glad it became your favourite of the 5 - and even better that you’re enjoying both the design and the feel.

It’s nice. A bit pricey compared to others online but this may be the quietest fidget slider, which I appreciate.
Really appreciate the honest feedback Kennedy!! - glad you’re enjoying how quiet it is, that’s exactly what we aimed for 🙌 Totally hear you on the price as well. Thanks for giving it a go and sharing your thoughts!
