Love this. It is elegant and the slinky inside is very satisfying to hear while twisting this tool. Unfortunately it arrived missing two magnets and its magnetic attraction is pretty weak and I am continually dropping them because of this.

Regarding the magnet structure, we just wanted to clarify that the 6x8 structure is actually the intended design. You can see this in our product video, where one side of the slider features the 6x8 arrangement. We tested different configurations during development and found that this structure provided the smoothest and most consistent sliding experience!

I’ve tried several of these devices across different price ranges, so I get it — $90 looks expensive at first glance. But after buying this exact Tortoise unit, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny.

I used to flip two poker chips back and forth (bottom one to top one) for years. When I first started looking at these products, I honestly didn’t think I’d ever find one that could actually replicate that satisfying motion.

This one does it perfectly — and then gives you everything else you could possibly want on top of that. I almost wish the company was paying me for this review, because it’s honestly worth more than they’re charging.

Just buy it. You’ll be happy you did.

I’ve bought a few of these devices in different price points. And I understand you see $90 that is expensive. Have to purchasing this exact tortoise unit. It’s worth it.
I used to flip two poker chips, bottom one & top one, back-and-forth. When I was first looking into these products, I thought to myself there would be never one that can do this (meaning what the poker chips did, how they flipped)

This does that. Plus, everything else you could want. I wish the company paid me for this with you because it is even less than what the product really is.

Quieter than the other one I purchased. Very light and easy to manipulate. Not sure if it is as designed/intended but looks like one half is missing 2 magnets (shown on right half in image where pen is pointing). Feels like this off-balances the manipulations sometimes.

Hey Dylan, thanks for the detailed feedback! 🙏 The slider was intentionally designed with a 6 x 8 magnet structure - we tested a few different configurations and found this setup gave the smoothest movement during testing.

The lighter feel and quieter sound are also part of this design, but we appreciate you flagging the magnet layout and how it feels during manipulation. We'll keep this feedback in mind!

Loose springs; I kinda expected them not to rattle around.
I also expected 2x8 magnets instead of two missing at one side.
Maybe deliberate choice to save some cents? idk.
I saw a video online that had all of this.

The 2x8 setup is actually the way we designed it - during our testing the two sliders with different magnet setups and this was the smoothest in our opinion, but appreciate the feedback!
